Hey, Chris! Do you have any openings for shows in the near future? I’m thinking about starting to perform again, and I’m looking for new venues. I’d love to come perform, even if its for free. I just want to get my music out there.
- Blaine: Oh, god, we really have to meet up! Double-date soon! When are you and Nick free? I'll check with Kurt so he and Nicky can meet!
- Jeff: Definitely! I think that would be a lot of fun, plus Nick and Kurt really do need to meet. I'm sure Nick wants to meet the guy who makes you happy.
- Blaine: And Kurt wants to meet the guy who makes you happy :) It's a plan!
- Jeff: I'll talk to Nick about when we can go. And you must be pretty special Blaine, just saying. I haven't left the house except for a few times since my rape, but I'm willing to go out for you.
- Blaine: Alright. And aw, you're just saying that, haha. We're all special in our own way, some more than others (*cough* you guys *cough*). Only when you're ready, Jeff. Or, we can always stop by your place if that's okay (:
- Jeff: You can come by here, but I'd really love to go out. I wouldn't mind if I was with you and Kurt.

Good:) And I’m starting to get used to Joanna worming her way into the bed… except when she tries to sleep between us.
I am too. It’s cute, though, when its storming out and she tries to sleep between us cause she’s scared. That’s the only time I’ll allow it. Other than that, nothing can come between you and I, that is, until we have kids. Then they can sleep in between us if they’re scared. I hope you don’t mind that.
It is pretty damn cute. She’ll nuzzle up into us and whimper and I can’t help but feel sorry for her. Of course I don’t mind that, baby. As long as I’m touching you in some way, like holding your hand.
Of course baby. Plus when they’re really small, we’ll still be able to tangle our legs together.

Nick felt a shiver run through him as Jeff whispered into his ear, his voice low and perfect. He hadn’t been expecting anything like that - he most definitely wasn’t going to complain, though. Jeff taking things slow was fine with him, but he was happy when his boyfriend became comfortable enough to open up even more around him. Jeff was obviously doing really well if he was willing to take their relationship in a more physically intimate direction, feeling more comfortable with being with Nick in new and different ways. He pulled back to look into Jeff’s brown eyes, smiling softly. “Really?” he asked, happy to see that Jeff seemed to mean it. He nodded, not wanting to say anything that might pressure his boyfriend or make him uncomfortable.
Heading back into the room, Nick curled up under the warm blankets and smiled as their new puppy padded over to join him. The small dog seemed a little sleepy - she’d probably worn herself out chasing her tail around and exploring the apartment… not to mention the early morning she would have had coming over from Sebastian’s place. She settled down, sniffing him curiously as if trying to learn his scent, familiarize herself with her new master. Curling up half on his chest, she stared up at him expectantly. Nick laughed, reaching down to pet her head and play with the soft fur on her neck and back. It didn’t take long until she was asleep, twitching slightly as she dozed off.
When Jeff came into the room with their breakfast, Nick’s stomach rumbled again at the smell of food. It smelled amazing, and he was pretty sure it wouldn’t take Joanna long to smell it either. He settled back on the pillows, reaching for his plate and for Jeff’s hand to give it a squeeze. “Thanks, baby,” he said with a smile. “This looks amazing.”
Jeff hummed in agreement. “Really.” he squeezed Nick a little tighter, before releasing him to go to their room. He could tell that Nick was happy with what he had said, and who could blame him? His boyfriend, with whom he’d been in love with for a long time, was finally ready to take another step in their relationship. Granted, it wouldn’t be a big step, Jeff wasn’t ready for that. After all, it had only been two months since his rape, but still, Jeff was ready. He wasn’t quite sure what they were going to do. All he knew is that he wanted to be closer to Nick somehow, not just emotionally, but in a physical sense. Suddenly, Jeff couldn’t wait for tonight.
He went about the kitchen, whistling “What Makes You Beautiful” to himself as he made breakfast. He was still singing the tune, humming along softly no, when he carried the food into their room. He smiled at his little family before setting the tray on Nick’s lap and crawling in beside him. He smiled down at their intertwined fingers, squeezing Nick’s hand back. “Now be careful, they’re hot, just like you.” Jeff smirked, kissing Nick’s cheek. He picked up the fork from the tray and brought it to Nick’s lips. “Open up.” Nick did what he was told, and Jeff fed him the first bite of omelet. “So, does it taste good?”
He didn’t get to hear Nick’s answer, for Joanna woke up beside them and barked. She wagged her tail, the sound of it hitting back and forth against his and Nick’s body echoing through the room. Joanna started pawing at Nick’s chest, her eyes pleading for food. “Well, I guess our little girl is hungry, aren’t you baby?” he rustled, the fur on the top of Joanna’s head, placing a kiss there. He took a small bite of hash browns off of his plate, and held it in his palm in front of Joanna’s face. She sniffed at it appraisingly, before licking it out of his hand. Jeff started giggling. “That tickles!”
